I'm sure my children won't be eligible for a school funding because our forecasted group contribution is actually $75,000 and none of my schools cost more than that. My personal moms and dads tell fill out of the FAFSA anyhow since they are certain I'll have educational funding. But my personal relative said it helps my chances of getting back in that I will NOT be applying for financial aid if I mark on the application. What would the purpose be of finishing the FAFSA while I discover I will not see any aid that is financial it could harm my personal chances of getting back in? Must I skip the FAFSA and level on programs that I will not become desire aid that is financial?
Then it can indeed work in your favor if you don't apply for financial aid IF you are applying to colleges that are 'need aware' (meaning that your financial circumstances may be considered when your admission decision is made. just ... it is mainly genuine if you are a candidate that is borderline. If you should be currently a powerful contender, the help application won't harmed you (especially once the financial aid folks tell their particular admission workplace pals you won't see any dough anyway!)
Thus that you paper writings are on the cusp at any of your need-aware target colleges, checking the 'No aid' box could be a plus, although first you should talk frankly with your parents about why they insist that you complete the FAFSA if you suspect.
